#NSX #Concept Usually used in a brownfield environment, vSphere environment is present. Implementation without major network or compute resource redesigns. ## Use cases for brownfield environment, where applications are already running on a virtual environment. Smaller to medium environments (2-50 hosts) and < 1000 VMs. The deployment is agnostic to the physical environment. Is not depending on anything on the physical environment. Security policy changes and network configuration can be done independently from the physical network administration. ## Limitations No TEP is used. Services like NAT, VPN are not included. Only available for single vCenter instance. - routing and switching is done on the phyisical Network environment - "small to medium sized" (2-50 hosts) - no overlay networks possible - no integration into vSphere clien ## Deployment ### Components - singleton [[NSX - Manager.md]] - Tanzu supervisor cluster (optional) - Guest Kubernetes Nodes - HA-Proxy Load Balancer (optional)
